Re: Running a Java application via an icon

This may not be a pure java solution but i have had a
lot of success with install anywhere. They have a free
version that produces a standard install program for
just about every os out there.

it will not open a dos prompt and lessens the
classpath headaches that are usually involved in a
java install.
