Another thought- what commitment control option are you using in the
connection? Try viewing the insert results while the java app is still
connected and then again after it disconnects and see if they are the same.
Try other commitment options. Which JDBC driver are you using? The native
drivers directly on the 400 or the toolbox drivers? If you are running on
the 400 try both...
