I am storing some template programs on my PC using "Save As" <LOCAL>C:
\Folder1\Folder2\QRPGLESRC\PROG.IRP. I tried to rename Folder2 to
something else and I get the error -> "Cannot rename QRPGLESRC: There has
been a sharing violation. The source or destination file may be in use."
I also get that Windows error when trying to rename QRPGLESRC folder. I
think the error has to do with CODE/400 saving the path for easy opening
through File -> # to open at bottom. Shutting down CODE/400 and the server
did not fix it. I rebooted my PC and the PC paths in CODE/400 Editor
disappeared and only showed the AS/400 paths. Only after rebooting my PC
could I rename any folders in the path. It seems like CODE/400 should not
lock the PC folder in the path. That way I can rename folders or delete
them without getting errors. I would rather get an error in CODE/400 when
trying to access a path that has changed rather than giving Windows sharing
violation errors. I tried opening a bunch of programs from the AS/400 to
get the PC paths out of the list of 6 but I still get the sharing
violation. I am even getting the sharing violation on other folders in the
same folder as the previous that I never created or opened files in.
I am on Windows NT. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Craig Strong
