You can try this and see if it helps. Locate the .ivg file of your project
and move that .ivg file to another folder. Now right click on that file and
select the Package action.

V4R5M1 with service pack 2 - W2K P/C w/service pack 2

When I attempt to package my application, I get the error "FVDIPACK.EXE has
generated errors and will be closed by Windows. You will need to restart
the system. An error log is being created."

Where is the error log & it's name? I searched by *.log & found nothing
with today's date & time.

The error occurs after clicking OK to "Packaging Windows NT/95/98" window -
the second window I see. The next window that should appear (according to
the manual) is the "package information window" which never shows - I just
get the error message after a minute or so.

What is my next step or my fix to the problem?

The only thing I can think has changed since I last tried this is putting
cume C1296 & all the group ptf's on the system. I also downloaded service
pack 2 for W2K & installed that???????

Thanks - Dennis.
