Is there a reason not to use CHGPF SRCFILE{}, or is this a generic question
about the way PDM works? For CHGPF (ALTER TABLE), the creation date doesn't
change but everything else does (assuming old and new column attributes are
mapable). IMV, there is some wisdom in not allowing a casual
(in-line/automatic) deletion of a PF.

Reeve

Subject: replacing a PF

Is there a way when creating a file (CRTPF) to be
prompted whether to delete the existing object or not,
the way SEU does?

Thanks,

Phil
