Hi John,

I'm only using Win NT, but I'm able to move the toolbar around by clicking
on empty space and draging it to the various sides of my screen.
Does this not work for you (I seem to recall that you are using Win2000)?
BTW, CODE has several customers who are completely dependant on the
toolbar and I confess that I lobbied that it (as well as many other things)
not be removed.

I will pass along your comment to those who work on our help. Perhaps
there is some room for improvement :-)

thanks,

Hi Mike

 >> P.S. Please don't shoot (or flame) the messenger.

OK I won't - but please tell the idio... I mean person, responsible for
that decision that most of us never use that horrible ugly toolbar in the
first place so having the Documentation there is a waste of time. How much
extra does it take to have left the d%$n thing where it was! ion.

Having said that, what is worse is that even then most of the documentation
is still missing! I just checked it out - the _only_ stuff there is for
Code/400 (and the combined Code & VARPG quickstart). Where are the VARPG
manuals? Or how about some documentation for Websphere Studio or VA Java?

PS. While in rant mode (NOT aimed at you) If we have to use the darn
thing, it would be nice if the toolbar thingy was a bit more usable. You
can't (as far as I can tell) have the thing be horizontal - which would be
my preference - at least it autohides but that's small consolation. The
other problem with it is that because it fails to change the font color of
the highlighted lines to white, once you move the mouse over an item you
can't read it any more!! No user friendly!
