I have to say that your procedure looks long and cumbersome. I draw a 
bead on the text I want to copy, using my mouse pointer and then use the 
old CTRL-INS (from OS/2) and then switch and click and Shift-INS to 
paste. Seems easier to me. I'm doing this on NT but I think I used to do 
it on Win95 too.
