We are on 405 CD mixed mode with access to RPG/400 BPCS source code but I do
not have AS/Set & ORD570 is one of the monsters that I have given up on
trying to modify. However I have modified ORD595 ORD596 ORD597 which are
rather tiny print programs called by ORD570 to generate the shipping
documents.

If you have not already done so, I suggest you look at the DOC menu resources.

I imagine the most definitive statement of sequence of events would be in the
BPCS Overview Reference Manual, which I have not purchased yet ... I am a bit
swamped with what I do have, but there have been times I could have used it.

There are editions available for BPCS V6.1.00 V6.0.02 and V6.0.04. It is
over 300 pages, contains over 70 flowcharts and covers the core BPCS modules.

Email dslic@aol.com and ask for an email sample packet on this manual if you
are interested. A table of contents and sample section is provided in the
email sample.

I would be interested to know what led to the decision to move from full
client server to mixed mode.
