The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.

Actually, yes, I understand YAJl, json, and xml. Not an expert, but
I've written a few applications. As you say, there is nothing
particularly complex. But what does happen is often times is more than
a little confusing. It's not the complexity; it's the confusion.
As to the ILE ... in my opinion, IWS offers an on-ramp to ILE features
that is adaptable to each individuals needs.
In the end, all I am saying is that IWS is an alternative that a shop
suddenly confronted with a .json world might find IWS useful.

That's where I disagree. YAJL is super simple once you understand JSON.
Understanding the basics of JSON is a very valuable asset to anyone's
experience.
Whats daunting to some about YAJL (besides JSON itself) is that you
actually have to use ILE.
