Hi Justin, here is the scriptAliasMatch I am using (although only in test
for now) and it handles the situation you are describing.

ScriptAliasMatch /rest/([a-z0-9]+)/.* /qsys.lib/prfobj.lib/$1.pgm

I'm using Apache & CGI, and I'm trying to get my ScriptAliasMatch to
properly handle REST type URLs.

My test Apache config contains this line:
ScriptAliasMatch ^/cgi-bin/(.*) /QSYS.LIB/CGIBINT.LIB/$1.PGM

It properly handles this URL:
https://server/cgi-bin/index

When I try a REST type URL (https://server/cgi-bin/index/id/1), it fails
to load the page, and the Apache error log says "not a cgi program". If I
include the extension in the URL (https://server/cgi-bin/index.pgm/id/1)
it works, but I really don't like doing that. I tried modifying the
ScriptAliasMatch, but I can't get anything that will work.

Any suggestions?

TIA
