Ric, I am not sure what release you are on but latest HTTP group PTFs for
7.2 and 7.3 you can redeploy (not uninstall) a web service to pick up
redefinitions.

And whether you uninstall or redeploy, the port number does not change so
I am not sure what your problem is as it applies to that.

I would be very interested in the video as well and perhaps the webinar.

I have used the IWS wizard and it is OK, but I have run into the
problem that when I want to re-define the soap web service using the
IWS wizard I am not able to change the soap web service definition
but have to remove it and re-create it which produces a new (and
different) WSDL and port number.

Is there a way to simply change the length of the parm field I use
in my RPGLE pgm within the wizard? I have tried to simply change
the PCML length in the IFS file associated with the web service but
it does not seem to increase it when I run the web service. So,
there must be something in the javabeans that the wizard is changing
that I am not aware of. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.
