I think interpreted languages are easier to program, and will work great
under light loads. They have a place.

Compiled run faster, but requires a more prepared programmer, you can
not type a statement and run it, there is a compile step in between.

I like the fact that the compiler analyzes the whole program before it
is run. 

Interpreted some time have errors that only appear in production.  Also,
you need to be more careful about SQL injection and mismatched data types.

1. Node has better performance than CGI under conditions of very high concurrency.

2. Because of how node was ported to IBM i, it performs no better than CGI.

3. Therefore, to get the best performance with node, run it on servers other than IBM i.

I actually suspect that #2 above is false. That would mean #3 does not follow. But if #1 and #2 above are true, then, to my mind, #3 makes sense.
