User report request

They want to submit the report request and have the spreadsheet open (in a
new window).

Not save it first, then find it, and then open .

Is this a IE / Chrome browser issue, or Apache, or javascript or what?

Need to do this without tweaking the pc - these are customers.

No Win IIS webserver in sight.

Years ago .xls or even .csv used to do this with a redirect (now Chrome or
IE open as text files) ..

Pdfs still open by redirect.

What am I missing?
