The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.
You may be missing the fact that if you are using node.js for a web application you would invariably use its built in http (and web socket) support and create your own server with it - perhaps using one of the more robust packages like express.js to augment its built in capabilities.
There would not be any need to use it in conjunction with Apache really, although having said that I have used it with a nginx front end for load balancing and reverse proxy. You could equally use Apache as a reverse proxy front-end - but you are still using the http server within node.js itself then.
No - it is nothing like CGI.

Subject: [WEB400] Using Node w/ Apache
How does Node run with Apache? Is it similar to CGI (prob not, I'm thinking)? Does Apache simply have directive(s) that route requests to existing Node jobs?
