In my opinion, yes. You have very successfully done exactly what has been driving me to excessive coffee drinking for a week. There is a lesson for me in there somewhere. Your article is timed beautifully for me. ht_jref looks interesting.

All three, Nathan; local PC, a remote server (pair.com, hosting ventures.martinvt.com/ <http://ventures.martinvt.com/> ), plus an iSeries on an Intranet, reached via a vpn.

What really irritates me is that it seems random. Of course it isn't, but it seems it. 2 hours ago it wasn't working with IE. Took the dog for her walk, came back, wrote this email, decided to double check and now its working on ventures.martinvt.com/ but not showing the json data on the iSeries with either Firefox or IE, nor showing the json data on the local PC for IE.

Doesn't take much to keep me busy. :)

Is this related to the article I posted?

By chance, are you trying to invoke an xmlHTTP request against an HTTP
server located on your PC as opposed to sending the request to HTTP server
hosted remotely?
