I would also be aware that if you copy the file to QTEMP for the QTMHHTP1
profile, if you expect the next web request to have access to that file it
may not as the next request may be a different job and thus, a different
QTEMP.

QTEMP can be used for a one time shot, but don't expect it to work over
multiple requests/CGI calls consistently.

Also check on QTMHHTP1's user profile for the LMTCPB. My system is *no,

Did you check what authority QTMHHTP1 user profile has?

Hello,

I'm trying to copy a physical file from a library in the library-list
to qtemp in a cgi-job running under the user profile qtmhhtp1. The
command is:

crtdupobj obj(myFile) from(*libl) objtype(*file) tolib(qtemp)

The file myFile has Authority *public *all. I receive the message
MCH1001 (attempt to use permanent system object qtmhhtp1 without
authority). The file doesn't get copied.

What am I doing wrong?

Thank you very much in advance.

Best regards

Jan
