How does git running in QSH make the link to my account in bitbucket?
I would agree if it wasn't for the fact that I definitely did it and
received a confirmation email from bitbucket stating as much. It could be a
local issue but there is not much info to go on in order to track it down.
How does git running in QSH make the link to my account in bitbucket? I
am not overly familiar with mechanics of SSH but I would expect to have to
make some reference to my bitbucket account somewhere, perhaps in the URL -
no?

It looks like your id_rsa.pub key didn't get copied to Bitbucket.

I tried something else in desperation but got something else (Permission
denied (public key):
ssh -T git@xxxxxxxxxxxxx
The authenticity of host 'bitbucket.org (104.192.143.2)' can't be
established.
RSA key fingerprint is
'104.192.143.3'Are you sure you want to continue connecting (yes/no)?
yes
Warning: Permanently added 'bitbucket.org,104.192.143.2' (RSA) to the
list of known hosts.
Enter passphrase for key '/home/KTURNER/.ssh/id_rsa': logged in as
kpturner.
You can use git or hg to connect to Bitbucket. Shell access is disabled.

git clone git@xxxxxxxxxxxxx:litmis/ibmichroot.git
Cloning into 'ibmichroot'...

Not very exciting:
git clone git@xxxxxxxxxxxxx:litmis/ibmichroot.git
Cloning into 'ibmichroot'...
Host key verification failed.
fatal: The remote end hung up unexpectedly

Doesn't bitbucket.org have to be in a known_hosts file or summat?
