The ibm I 6.1 release is no longer in service. In order to leverage new
technology and new security protocols you will need to move to a newer
modern version of the ibm i OS. Like 7.1 or 7.2

I have developed a web service client written in RPG on Ibm i version 6.1

now running on a few sites. The service must now be able to connect to a
server over TLS 1.1 or/and TLS 1.2. I cannot find any support for that. Is
there a fix that will do it, or will the customer using the WS client have
to upgrade to version 7?
