Great! Not sure why you do a CD to the QOpenSys folder though. I never have to do that to run node or git.

I set the environmental variable in the start.sh script. The script now looks like this:
#!/usr/bin/sh
export QIBM_MULTI_THREADED=Y
cd /QOpenSys/QIBM/ProdData/Node/bin
node /dir/sample.js

I would think so. Use SBMJOB to submit a CLLE program - set environment variables there - then call QSH from the CLLE program and pass the reference to your .sh file.
