Thanks for the reasons. I don't disagree with any of them depending on the
scenario.

Some things to think about...

At some point IBM i shops have to get over the fear of opening a port on
their firewall. Also, bandwidth shouldn't normally be an issue if the
business chooses a right strategy for loading static resources (i.e. Amazon
S3 for images, PDFs, etc).
