Any static or generated page from any web environment from essentially
anywhere in the world may reference a URL which references a CGIDEV program.
sample URL syntax:
protocol://domain:port/path...
http://www.ibmisystem.com:9200/path/your.pgm
You probably already knew that, and I suspect that I may not have answered
your question, because I really don't know what you mean by "send a call to
a CGIDEV program".
I have worked with quite a few IBM i CGI programmers who think in terms of
"program calls" - as if the browser address bar were an IBM i command line
- which it isn't.
So, what do you mean by "send a call..."?
