The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.
Booth,
I don't know about email being old-school, but I acknowledge SMS as an alternative. My wife complains that she gets too many SMS messages and can't keep up with them.
Yes, I use HTML templates, for example:
http://www.radile.com/rdweb/temp/presete.html
That's a template to retrieve / reset Login parameters. A program replaces markers such as {{uid}} with values from the database, generates IFS stream files, then passes the file name to Net.Data's DTW_SENDMAIL() function.

Subject: Re: [WEB400] Getting Into HTML Formatted EMAIL
A comment from the sidelines, Nathan. In the world of today's young
families, email itself is old-school.
Short Message Service (SMS) is a great solution in that the recipient
can be a variety of texts, including email, phone, tablet, and FAX.
As to the HTML solution... does your solution lay in developing templates?
