If you connect directly to the database, you can call the stored
procedures directly. If you use the CGI interface, there is an
extra layer, and RPG CGI program, in between the calling program and
the stored procedure.

because, if I remember correctly, the CGI program is just calling
the stored procedures anyway. :)
Sorry, that just doesn't make sense to me. What is the difference
between calling stored procedures from a CGI Job vs. a QZDASOINIT Job?
