I found this PYWEBSOCKET as well.

The startup engine of apache is something to really grasp and
understand(maybe wrong way to word it), I have learned a little about it by
using lamp/xampp etc and php on the client side. phpinfo being the driver
file of it all if this is correct. I believe these new mod(s) that you can
add and put into apache are very similar to like a plug-in or framework
that once you have you can then leverage it for the most part to your
particular needs.
