PTF SI45440 for V5R4 is for QHTTPSVR/QZHBCGI that is used by CGIDEV2 and
CGI Programs. The special instructions mention recompiling programs if you
have "experienced" the problem and to "correctly activate it".

The special instructions are for superseded PTF SI42158, and I don't recall
having any issues when we applied that in October. Is it safe to say that
we can apply this PTF? Has anyone applied this recent PTF and experienced
issues?

Our big fear is we install this PTF and all of our CGI applications stop
working. We have A LOT of CGI Programs. Recompiling them all would be a
nightmare.

Here are the instructions:

THE FOLLOWING ARE SUPERSEDED SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS. IF THE SUPERSEDED
PTF HAS ALREADY BEEN APPLIED AND ITS SPECIAL INSTRUCTION FOLLOWED,
IT IS NOT NECESSARY TO FOLLOW THAT SPECIAL INSTRUCTION AGAIN.

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR SUPERSEDED PTF SI42158 :
=================================================

If you have not experienced this problem, nothing needs to be done.

If you have experienced this problem and if you have Common Gateway
Interface (CGI) programs that were compiled binding to QHTTPSVR/QZHBCGI
service program, you need to do the following AFTER to apply the PTF
to correctly activate it:

1. Recompile all the CGI programs that were compiled binding to
QHTTPSVR/QZHBCGI service program.
2. ENDTCPSVR SERVER(*HTTP) HTTPSVR(*ALL)
3. Start the HTTP(s) server(s) using:
STRTCPSVR SERVER(*HTTP) HTTPSVR(<server_name>)
