Thanks, Nathan. No, I didn't post on Midrange-L. Given the potentially inflammatory nature of Android vs. Apple, I didn't want to get embroiled in another controversy. I figured this list was a bit more focused and people would appreciate it.

Then again, EGL got kicked off of this list. I'll never understand that one - IBM develops a web language with specific features for the IBM i and it's not relevant to the IBM i Web Enabling list? ;)

Joe, I just read your article and should return a compliment. It was more
thoroughly researched and more balanced than one typically finds on the
internet. There's a lot of good reference material there, especially when one
follows the embedded links. It covers a lot more than just Web interfaces. Did
you post a link on Midrange-L? I sense that web and mobile interfaces are
becoming so mainstream that they are a topic of general interest; can't be
relegated to a specialized list.
