What are the primary reasons you consider PHP not enterprise ready?
It's not a general purpose programming language. Adding PHP to your
programming stack gets you a thin client web interface, nothing more.
That's not to say it can't grow into an enterprise programming environment
eventually; Java started out as Oak! But since they can't even get Unicode
done I'm just not sure it will ever get there.
