Exactly! Finding that balance in a framework is tough because more magic is needed at the front of the learning curve while once you have matured you can do with less magic...I used to use an HTML WYSIWYG designer heavily. These days I do more hand-coding because I know exactly what I want and how to get it. I am so used to AJAX and JSON that most of my template-based web development has gone away. Going back to older code can be "painful"...

You're welcome, and I am glad you see the value in it. I have done web
development using a number of different frameworks (Java and PHP mostly) and
have come to find that I only want the framework to do stuff "magically" in

Very cool concerning AppsOni and Nuvek. Agreed, it is good to see more
people realizing the great stuff and going public with it. Now we just need
to fix the access to IBM i issue and we will be all set to better promote it
:-)
