Hi Bent,

Thanks for the clarification. I guess I was wanting to see if Jim was doing
vendor hijacking of the thread. Richard was asking to know if the IWS
server could act as a replacement to their normal Tomcat pursuit. Jim piped
in with his statement that provided no useful information. I usually don't
care about this stuff except for this isn't the first time Jim has done
this.

Richard, to expand on Bent's comments, you should also know about the
IceBreak RESTFul Java "socket server" that Niels put together not too long
ago: http://code.google.com/p/icebreakrest/

I have not used IWS for serving up my own Java web apps, so I don't have any
experience to share there.

Although Tomcat seems much easier to deploy and we've used it for years,
