A static web page is where the information on the web page is hardcoded in HTML. It won't change.

A dynamic web page is where the information on the web page is created by doing something like accessing a database, and the page is different depending on the data being displayed.

Ok, so with CGIDEV2 I'd say that one can generate dynamic pages. A Java developper is telling me that a dynamic site is not possible with CGIDEV2. What am I missing?
