The query parameters can also be a headache if you are using Google
Analytics. There are ways to handle it but it can be messy and tedious.
As you know, it's best to consider these things in the design/planning

This is very true. At some point we might have to do some URL rewriting,
but
I'm not too concerned about thet YET. We shouldn't have long URL patterns
like this. Also, the content should be good as well.

All though, maybe I need to re-think this. Paging could be an issue... ...I
guess I have some work and reading cut for me ;-)
