Have a system running on a linux box using perl using DB2 on i as a database. I wanted to try and setup a backup site on the i in case of problems. Move the code over nightly to the IFS using an NFS mapping and if ever needed point to the i IP address. Maybe use the i for development system.

Thanks. Found that and have perl install on our i and the run perl
scripts OK. Just don't know the first thing about setting up Apache to
execute a perl script. May be one where we break new ground

This is the only thing I could find that might be useful:

Has anyone on this list use perl on an iSeries for web development? I
know perl can run on i, we have a 3rd party app that uses it for some
processes and I know perl can be used for web development on unix/linux
platforms but I can't say I have ever heard of anyone using perl for web
development on i.
