Perl is a fantastic tool for processing flat text files! Truly fantastic! Perl is the iPhone of regular expressions :D (or something)

The major problem with USING Perl for web development is that you want the programs running _inside_ the webserver for speed. This means C and glue code and has been done for Apache, but apparently not ported to OS/400?

Anyone using it?

(I would like to, but we stick to standard things to avoid customer deployment heck)
