After a quick check of the archives, where I did not see this addressed, and
looking at the ZEND forums, where It is only partially addressed, I am
looking for how to gracefully end and start the ZEND and ZMYSQL subsystems,
the ZEND http server instance, and the MYSQL daemon. The only way I have
gotten the daemon to start is to start a PASE shell session, then issue the
'mysqld_safe &' command. This puts the daemon running in QINTER.

What am I missing in getting the MYSQL daemon to start in the ZMYSQL
subsystem? It does not seem to start when I start either the ZEND or ZMYSQL
subsystems, nor does it start when taking the "4. Start MySQL daemon" menu
option off of the "Zend MYSQL Management" menu.

Thanks!

Jim
