You mean other than the 10 connection limit, the fact that it's not server OS and that you're violating the license agreement? Nope, no reason. :-)

FWIW, Windows does allow resource pooling, and yes, only in Server
configurations, but, um... it is a web SERVER... Not planning on running
it on XP are we? :-)
Well, IIS runs on XP so apparently web servers can run even on operating
systems without "server" in the name :-)
For a sole Java application I have not seen any special reason NOT to
run it on plain XP. Have you?
