I don't know if I am oversimplifying, but why not have each item in the
search results be a link to the corresponding PDF and eliminate the "click
here" screen?

Thanks,
Todd

I have this macro which ends up displaying a .pdf file. The search index
is on the System i. The users are not happy with the extra "click" step
(anchor) which is now needed. Is there a way to eliminate that extra step
and go directly to the .pdf display?

1) There is a keyword search field entered

2) The System i index is searched and all "matches" are
displayed.

3) User clicks on the record # of the match for which they want
to see the actual .pdf

4) Anchor screen comes up and user must click it again before the
.pdf shows - this is what they want eliminated.

Example:

Rec# Invoice Identification
0004 Badger Metals 10450 52499.pdf
0109 Inside Badger 13070 0038727-IN.pdf

User then clicks on the one he wants ...

and this "extra" step comes up:

VIEW the A/P Invoice for ... Badger Metals 10450 52499.pdf <J:\Badger
Rubber Company 10450 52499.pdf>
When above is clicked, the .pdf appears.
