The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.
The customer may have exhausted their line of credit in the mean time.
Then the transaction is rejected. It's along the same lines as taking an
order for an item and then calling back and saying "oops, sorry, we
don't actually have that in stock"... never had that happen at Amazon
for example. :-) It's simply a question of what your tolerance for
"truth" is.
And you're relying on email for posting transactions. Is that safe?
Personally, I've seen too many cases where email was never delivered.
But I don't think we're talking about SMTP delivery here. We're talking
about using Outlook like a rich-client container and having some sort of
sync process. I would trust that.
