I believe that the number of messages posted to Web400 far exceed the
number posted to Midrange-L.

I saw your message, and thought "That can't be true, can it?" So I went and looked up the number of posts. I only looked up 2008 from January to October, and this is what I found:

Midrange-L Web400
---------- ------
January 1937 116
February 1631 44
March 1869 128
April 1837 191
May 1315 381
June 1222 320
July 1617 366
August 1525 520
September 1368 387
October 1561 251
-------------------------------
Total 15882 2704

So, for 2008 (until October) there were nearly 6 times more posts on Midrange-L vs Web400. Not even close.

Also, the average amount of posts per member on Midrange-L
15882/1321 = 12.02

The average amount of posts per member on Web400
2704/488 = 5.54

So not only are there far more posts on Midrange-L, far more members on Midrange-L, there are more postings per person as well. It's very hard to see where you're coming from!
