not for your main question, but in order to remember the websites you visit
I can recommend del.icio.us, this the best way to save web pages and
associate this to one or several free tags as "web400 webRPG freeware..."
and so on.
del.icio.us is so good that can be also used to save any other small text
pieces and not only url's.
also it is web based (allways available) and free btw, buttons are also
available for IE and FF.
