I saw that the stats were for w3.schools, and I understand that w3.schools is a site for Web developers, but the thing that struck me was the number of IE users who haven't bothered to upgrade from v6 to v7. Do they really care about their browser, or do they just use what's in the box?

Nathan.

Here's a site that lists the stats in general around the Internet:

But Scott... those aren't stats from "around the internet" those are
stats from w3schools.com -- a site clearly targeted at developers of web
sites, not "the average joe". Even they point out that:

" W3Schools is a website for people with an interest for web
technologies. These people are more interested in using alternative
browsers than the average user."
