This only works so far. To do what I'd call _advanced_ UI stuff I think
you'd need to touch the JS, HTML and CSS. Just adding Ajax doesn't make
it an ajax application. Can you drag/drop? Can you auto-complete? Are
you x-browser?
I'm getting frustrated, and to be honest, this conversation is becoming a waste of time. It's no longer about alternative ways to do things, but just about why you (the collective you, I guess) don't like EGL or don't like generated code or basically just don't like stuff. For some, it might just be that you don't like me <smile>.

And that, again, is why I presented the demo to the group.

If you can't make that happen in a few weeks spare time, then I don't care what your arguments are. My argument is simple: EGL can do it, and do it quickly. Nobody has proven that they can do it quicker.
