Man, just when I decided to use Net.Data for file uploads! And I think
I still will, anyway. Not that I'm a new convert to Net.Data, but I'm
very pleased with it for this particular purpose. I guess I'll just
hope that IBM continues to include it with the HTTP server license.
As I peruse the Net.Data Reference, I see that it has quite a few
language elements, but the thing that really stands out are the
interfaces with external language environments (SQL, Java, ILE, etc.),
which are obviously strategic. It appears that one could bypass most of
the language elements in Net.Data, and do most of their coding in one of
the other language environments.
It's such a fine product, that I hate to see it neglected by IBM.
