I found using the integrated app server the best way to go if you are at

v5r4. make sure you have the latest HTTP group PTF SF99114
following this:
http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/iseries/v5r4/index.jsp?
topic=/rzamm/rzammxmpintegrsrv.htm

and you only have three commands to get it working

I have followed the tutorial by both IBM and Andrew Borts pgmr tips
for
configuring iSeries Access for Web but have run into a problem. I
have
verified all necessary lic pgms are installed. I am at V5R4. I
configure
the IWATOMCAT HTTP server with no problem. The issue occurs when I
create
the ASF Tomcat server. In the Out Of Process creation it asks for the
ip
address, port and server type. Following the tutorial, I enter All
Addresses, 2017 and Binary(AJP13) and click Next. It returns saying
that
the port is unknown. This port should agree with the out-of-process
worker configures in the HTTP server. I have verified it does. I am
not
sure where to look next. Any thoughts on configuring IWA would be
appreciated. Thanks.
