The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.
Glad I could help. It's been a while since I was a noobie with the
Apache server but I'm almost certain I've done the same thing (and lots
of other dumb things). If you can find a copy (it's out of print so
you'll most likely only find used), "Professional Apache 2.0" by Wrox
Press helps a lot. There's not much difference between the open source
version and ours which means there's a ton of good stuff out there to
help you.

Matt,
That was it!!!! (the DirectoryIndex that is!)
Now why it worked before is a mystery but it's working now. If we ever
meet somewhere, I owe you a beverage (or two or three) of you choice!!!
Many, Many, Many Thanks!
