Re: Ending job immediately after RPG is done

Hi Aaron
I had the same issue with locked files. The apache job will hold a file
lock for some reason. I have compiled my programs, as Matt has mentioned,
with Activation Group of *NEW and where the programs are
SQLRPG/SQLRPGLE....specify Close SQL Cursor with a *ENDMOD....to force the
SQL cursors to close if they are not specifically closed inside the
program.........This can also cause the SQL cursor to be positioned wrong on
the next execution causing incomplete or no data to be retrieved at times.
