The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.

I think this will take care of the problem and also
perform slightly better than ending the CGI jobs.
Except that Aaron only wants to end the CGI job at night - and this approach
would end the AG after each and every message - unless you used persistent
CGI. I would expect the performance to be dreadful - and that's putting it
mildly.
Question to Aaron - why not simply shut down the Apache server? You'd need
to have some additional code to stop programs from opening specified files
once the server was restarted - but that is doable.
