Hi Mark,
Anyone out there correct me if I am wrong; however, I believe that there is
no way to expire an authenticated browser session when using AuthType Basic.


With that being said have a look at the following link. You will not need to
recompile Apache, but you will need to compile the module and update your
Apache conf file. I think this is what you are looking for without resorting
to writing custom session handling and expiry within your program(s):
