So...forgive me for being dense on this...I haven't worked with Tomcat and jsps for about 3 years and I find that I'm having to relearn all this again. Sucks getting old (although it beats the alternative of NOT getting old!). Anyway, so I created an http server instance running on port 8050. I created a TOMCAT server(IBM's version for now...I'll get an updated version from Apache later on today) and it's running on 8051 and I named it "mytomcat". I created a directory structure like this: /ASFTomcat/mytomcat/webapps/apps/ I added a tomcat mount point to my http server config that looks like this: JkMount /thankyou.jsp mytomcat JkMount /servlet/* mytomcat JkMount /apps mytomcat JkWorkersFile /www/litesout/conf/workers.properties And I created a simple html and a jsp named thankyou.jsp. The relevant portions of each look like this: HTML>>> <form action="/thankyou.jsp" method="get"> Enter your name: <input type="text" name="username"> JSP>>> Your information has been processed. Thank you <% request.getParameter("userName") %> ========================= Pretty basic, just to test it. I put the html page in the /www/myhttpsvr/htdocs directory on iSeries. And I put the thankyou.jsp file in /ASFtomcat/mytomcat/webapps/apps directory on iSeries. So, I access it like this: http://mysystem:8050/mypage.htm When I hit the submit button, what I get is a directory listing showing my thankyou.jsp and a couple of other files I happen to have in the /asftomcat/mytomcat/webapps/apps directory. What am I missing? A configuration entry somewhere, I'm sure, but I can't figure out where. If you need more information, please ask. It's a very old version and has had some functionality removed from it so that WebSphere looks better. A newer version of the Apache web site is a better bet. Someone here (not me) installed a version of Tomcat awhile back, before I got here, that they must have downloaded from the web. It uses the startup.sh scripts to run the CATALINA.bat startup procedure. Just like we all used to do when we had to do it all manually, before IBM was nice enough to include Tomcat with HTTP Server. That existing TOMCAT server is currently being used for some production stuff and I don't really want to touch it. Instead, I would like to simply create a new TOMCAT server using the HTTP Admin pages. As long as they are not running on the same port, there shouldn't be a problem running both versions of Tomcat, should there? Thanks in advance, Shannon O'Donnell
