   Was the issue of SSI on v5r4 was resolved on this list?

   If not, try this. It worked for me.

   PTF SI24201 corrects an SSI bug in v5r4.
   Without the PTF, SSI is ignored for pages with non-819 CCSIDs
   Many CGI applications (because they are EBCDIC, I imagine) fit this
   category.
