Maybe I got that acquisition wrong. 
There is RPGsp (RPG smart pages) which is by Profoundlogic (the RPG-Alive
person).
Then there's Rsp (RPG server pages) which is by the folks at ProData (the DBU
people).
Neither sight nor the BCDSoftware.com site mentions an acquisition. Perhaps the
person who mentioned this to me was mistaken.

I haven't used it, but I've been asking around (of their current customers) and
it seems that their RPGsp (which they recently acquired) is a much better tool
for web development.
